Composition: Each 200 ml bottle contains Lactulose, a synthetic disaccharide (typically 10 g/15 ml), used as an oral solution.

Mechanism of Action: Lactulose works by drawing water into the bowel and softening stools. It also lowers blood ammonia levels by promoting the growth of beneficial gut bacteria, converting ammonia to ammonium.

Indications: Used to treat constipation and hepatic encephalopathy (a liver-related brain disorder) by reducing ammonia buildup in the blood.

Dosage & Administration: Taken orally, with or without food, usually once or twice daily as directed by a physician. Dosage varies based on the condition and patient response.
